The problem with Xbox 360 games is that since they are on Dvd format, they are very vulnerable to getting scratched and damaged, which can make them unplayable. This is also the think why mod chips are so beloved - because they work to make your console ignore these safety sectors on your game, production your console run any disc you want. Many habitancy are stuck with games that can get scratched, naturally because they cannot get their Pc to copy the game as they need.
If you don't want to void the warranty by getting a mod chip, you indeed need to be able to copy Xbox games on a 1:1 ration, perfectly duplicating the exact disc. Your console does not know which games are legally copied or are customary - it just knows that if the safety sectors are intact, it should try and run the game. This means that you need to be able to get a tool or principles which is able to copy your Xbox games perfectly, even duplicating their safety sectors. This type of program or tool is indeed known as the "holy grail" to many members of the game copying community, because it's so elusive.
