Did you know that the fair use clauses in Section 117 of the U.S. Copyright Act of 1976 allow us to make one backup of any software we own for archiving purposes? So learn how to copy Xbox 360 games and safe your investment!

First off you are going to need a Dvd burner, many computers have these already. If your computer does not have a Dvd burner then you will need to buy and setup one. Xbox 360 games are plainly to large to copy to Cd-R disks, so using a Dvd-R is a must.

You will need to choose your type of Dvd-R. You want to pick a a high potential disk to copy your games to. I suggest whether "Ricoh" or "Verbatim", these 2 brands have a reputation for producing the top potential of disks, using these disks you shouldn't have any problems with skipping or read errors.

Lastly you will need game copying software. Until pretty recently there were different programs to read the disk, to rip it, to encode it, to burn it and to match up the permissible encryption. Now there is a schedule that is a uncomplicated "plug and play", put your Xbox 360 game in your Dvd drive, let the schedule copy it, when prompted put your Dvd-R in, let it burn and your done! The schedule that does this is called Easy Backup Wizard.
